@dibblego what is the reason Java 8 is useless for FP? Is it lack of non-strictness?
@dgeorgiev_bg It lacks many abilities c.f. http://functionaljava.org which is the only project that attempts to answer the question.

@dibblego So, lack of any adequate data structures besides Stream -
@dgeorgiev_bg Sum types would be a great start. Higher kinds and we might even start a discussion. Java cannot do FP.
