Some students will insist to start concrete before abstraction because it is easier. They are inviting you to also be wrong like they are.

@dibblego It just isn’t false that it’s easier to teach Monads by showing off a few first. Show me a good explanation w/ no examples
@sritchie I insist that this is an inappropriate way to explain that particular subject. Nobody has ever come to understand by this method.
