Hi #scala just so you know, removing Option#get gives only benefits and can even be done without solving the halting problem.

@alexey_r @dibblego Yes, Scala is generally quite well-behaved here, returning a 500 and logging at the ERROR level. Go with the flow.

@dibblego @alexey_r When _/0 is still in the API, what difference does List#head make? A 500 is a 500.
