@cowtowncoder And, in the end, I was far more productive with Delphi than with C++! And I was not the only one.

@PauloGaspar7 @cowtowncoder IME (3 yrs in finance): backwards compatibility was never an issue, every dev does not want to go back to java.

@channingwalton @cowtowncoder But backwards compatibility is far from being my worse concern. Complexity and tooling are.
