      @dibblego @rickasaurus I don't understand what notion of safety is being discussed. Scala has instance incoherency issues. Unscalable.

      @rickasaurus @cartazio Here is a challenge. Take two equal beginners and the best teacher on the planet. Give me haskell and one beginner.

          @dibblego @rickasaurus point being: for any equal amount of onboarding effort, the beginner will get MUCH farther in haskell

          @cartazio @rickasaurus and to tie back to the original, one primary reason for this is because haskell encourages safety, unlike scala.
