Haskell is far superior to #Scala in many ways. Don't let a few bullies or self-proclaimed experts tell you otherwise.
@osymandias "implicits in place of global dictionaries" is inferior. Scala's module system is awful. Try organising a non-trivial project.

@osymandias type-classes are strictly more practical than implicit. Scala modules are fine but organising anything non trivial is harder.
