@jedws I'm conscious of that issue more than anything, but his post seemed simplistic and of dubious actual value.

@seanparsons I thought it was a reasonable take on the essential nature of FP – as distinct from imperative – if a little clumsy.

@jedws @seanparsons the pure functional approach to imperative programming is by far the most practical. Careful of a false dichotomy.
