During the last 10 years to boost my morale I'd write an stb library, so (a) I'd enjoy writing code & (b) other people can use & I feel I'm doing good in the world.
A while back I decided not to release any new stb libraries for maintenance cost reasons. No more morale boosts.

I haven't _completely_ rolled back my willingness to write new Haskell libraries on those same grounds, but to a first approximation I can empathize.
