Do you write programs for aircraft in Haskell?

Of course! What else do responsible pilots do?

I thought aircraft programming relies only on some system programming...like c and c++..if Haskell is used in aircraft then it is a motivation for me to learn Haskell whenever I see jet plane..

Most certificated avionics is written in C. I turn those off or SDBY when flying :) They can be unreliable in subtle ways and have contributed to many incidents. There are certain rules under which non-certificated software can be used in-flight, and I experiment with those.
