At least that's an evident danger. OTOH with a small dirt on the horizon you can never know if it's just dirt or Scala programming approaching towards common point.

Yes. A well-studied human factor in threat & error management is "oh no, is that Scala programming at my 12!?" It is why high AoB level turns are trained and examined so early in the syllabus.
