This isn't a university statistics course. Real people will really die if they get it wrong. Do you work in the public or private sector with your risk management?
I fly aeroplanes on different mission types for example, where there is a self-selecting force for sloppy risk management. It's really great.

If you worked in the public sector, particularly one charged with public safety, you would know that every action done is in line with procedures that follow very specific steps. Someone has already done the risk calculations and this was the best course of action accordingly.
