We are yet to have the appropriate tools (both technical and social) to manage wide communities. I'm against banning but I think personal filters would be great.

In this case, I'd like a weed out advice drenched in profanity, not because I'd be offended but quite the opposite, to avoid the waste of time and unhealthy addiction to drama and shows of monkeys jerking off in public.
OK, you can be deeply concerned about whether or not someone said fuck. It's not an aspiration of mine.

"Personal filters" sounds a lot like a Usenet kill file. It's not new technology. But it's also probably not consistent with Twitter's (or Reddit's) business model, so don't hold your breath.
