I think I was clearer in what I said than "people confused by curl." Both my post and my comments here talk to the user onboarding experience, and the fact that something _can_ be done doesn't mean users will.

Also, even your responses here are showing a high level of ignorance of how some people use Stack and Stackage. For example, you're implying a project-centric workflow. In the blog post, I refer to the script-centric workflow, which (to my knowledge) cabal doesn't support.

Anyway, if you want to make snarky comments about how you were able to do it, so everyone else can, that's fine. I'm going to pay attention to where people have expressed dissatisfaction with tooling...

... and the extra step of "find a Stackage snapshot which isn't anywhere advertised on the cabal documentation page" was and remains confusing.

I've been observing. you're persistently missing the point and people have tried to patiently explain these points to you over several months. You might believe of yourself that you are sincere and bear goodwill but your behavior is indistinguishable from one who did not.

I like you and you seemed really nice when we've spoken in person so please take this as a friendly, "it seems like you're trying to exhaust people" rather than an accusation or an indictment of your character. Hope to have a beer w/ u at next LC.
