/7 MCAS is a clear design error by Boeing. The system kicks in while the aircraft operates in manual mode. Pilots do not expect the aircraft to respond unexpectedly when the aircraft is flown manualy. Also by not mentioning MCAS in manuals Boeing is to blame.

/8 Worldwide 220 Boeing MAX aircraft are flying. No Dutch airlines are operating the MAX yet. Turkish branch of Dutch Corendon operates a single MAX which is used on flights departing the Netherlands.
