There’s no basis for the claim that starting with a “bad” language is in any way harmful to a programmer, even if you accept that Python and JS are somehow “bad”

My first languages were HyperTalk and QBASIC. Fight me
That is a single anecdote and is not representative of the position. My first language was BASIC. The thoughts you cannot think in Python (etc) are far removed from what programming itself has to offer. Well done to you for overcoming it, but not all are so easily liberated.
