Whilst we should always do that of course, I believe it's listed as a change in relation to declaring 'Mayday Fuel' if the pilot believes they'll have to use reserves. As reserves weren't always required, but now are, I think they've highlighted that regarding declaring a MAYDAY.

Yeah I think the clarification is how and when to declare MAYDAY FUEL. It seems strange that fuel planning is listed under "Summary of major changes" Cheers mate. When do you leave for your trip?
