      Creepy, maybe. But considering that programmers' opinions are like religion, and religion and politics make people excited like horny teenagers, I don't think the allegory is _that_ weird.

      This is your story mate. You tell me if it is appropriate. I have no idea why you'd invoke religion or sexual function to analyse the merits of programming language(s). Sounds like another fantastic programmer insight that I could learn from. Explain it to me.

      My personal opinion is it is a matter of receiver. If you are not disturbed by Monthly Python or George Carlin, then you most likely don't mind. If you think it is inappropriate then don't invite me to your party. I cannot be 100% serious or 100% joking so words creep in all time

          Ah, I misunderstood. I basically went from "idealistic perfectionist" to "vanitas vanitatum" so I believe that half or more of the concepts programmers value have little to no importance. But it's soul crushing to think thata crap JS app might be valued as much as art of an app

          Of course there are some places where quality of your work do matter, but most of the jobs wasn't even near those places. TL;DR It's a half jokingly expressed my cynical point of view on IT industry.
