      The most I've seen is Herbert hand-wringing over the cost of having a vocal member of the community point out the Haskell Committee's bad behavior, and you threatening physical violence to someone who asked you to back up your claim.

      I teach Haskell and nobody succeeds at using Stack but they hear that it's what they should use. Prevents learning.

      FWIW as a Haskell newbie, I initially avoided Stack because of People On Twitter, lost several days to yak-shaving, and then ended up using Stack.
