The most I've seen is Herbert hand-wringing over the cost of having a vocal member of the community point out the Haskell Committee's bad behavior, and you threatening physical violence to someone who asked you to back up your claim.

Oh, I just realised that you think "crucifying someone in an argument" can be described as "physical violence." Please excuse me while I return to ignoring stupidity.

Round one: Delete the question Round two: Threaten the person who made the comment. Round three: Edit the comment once the OP has walked away. This is... winning, to you? It looks like a tantrum from here. Honestly, that entire repo does.

Just so you can enjoy just a tiny bit of the humour that you have provoked, please see what is expected to occur during a dispute: https://gist.github.com/tonymorris/90522094bb964fd0d7bb42acd43ff4fb#disputes … Hopefully it clicks.

You're taking this way too seriously matey. Let me be very direct. Yes, the discussion about why stack is crap (or however you want to word it) has been had. No you were not there. Yes you have only seen non-constructive comments on this matter.

No I do not feel an obligation to change this. I am almost damn sure nobody else does either. You are probably going to use my comments in some very serious, pointy-haired political discussion that now pervade Haskell. Someone is going to send me a link with the comment "lol."

I am then going to make a determination on how much more humour can be extracted from the very serious, pointy-haired political discussion. Humour is the best possible outcome of those situations. I might even post someone else's code with commit message "fuck stack."

The very serious, pointy-haired politicians (who can't write code, by the way) are going to get all … what's the word … politicky? Humour is the best possible outcome of those situations and so it will continue to be had.

All of these facts are OK and everything is going to be OK. Peace. ♡♡♡ :)
