Writing Scala is, as a matter of fact, one which can be analysed, critically, unethical.
As Sam explains, it's not about producing the scientific evidence, but the method by which to begin answering the question. "Morality is subjective" is itself a commonly cited claim that has no substance about it. Who decided this, and how? By what process was this discovered?

After further thought on the topic, the absolutism of my first response is unwarranted. However, there are valid arguments against the idea of objective morality as presented by Sam. In particular is isomorphism to secular moral reasoning, which is a well studied field.
