If you were required to add 1 million apples to 1 million apples, and you knew about the distributive law of multiplication over addition, but you ordered 2 fucking million apples anyway, then ordered your friends to start counting them, is that unethical?
Writing Scala is, as a matter of fact, one which can be analysed, critically, unethical.

Ethics and morality are a social construct, meaning they are defined by the culture and social circumstances of the individual. So, are subjective by definition.
