Scala only continues to exist because, "I don't know of a better way to solve that problem." Let's learn better ways.

If "not enough positive" is the best reason otherwise… well, I think that strengthens the case for its importance.

Part of being positive is people tend to switch off pretty quick if you put them on the defensive, and people tend to be defensive if they think their being attacked.

This is a massive over-simplification. I am on the defensive about the existence of Scala and the destruction that results. It is now perfectly reasonable to believe my person is being attacked?

People extrapolate, not always correctly.

Yes. But that doesn't mean that "more positive" is going to help this in any way at all. In fact, I have strong evidence that wishful thinking, or "pretend positivity", continues to encourage it.

It's not pretend positivity. It's not being overly antagonistic, Stating a language people use is unethical implies they are also unethical. If people feel they have been attacked as being unethical, they are going to switch off and you don't help them move on.

But it doesn't imply that at all. This has not been demonstrated. This cannot been demonstrated. This belief is itself, unethical.

People don't fit well within a perfectly logical world. To expect them to is unethical. I would say it has been demonstrated by your treatment by a section of the Scala community.

Where did i set such an expectation? That's many wrong things you now have to address.
