Misinterpreting outsiders is what creates silos and tribalism, and that's tribalism on tribalism. But the Scalaz tribe does think Scala must change in fundamental ways, those are the changes that Lightbend said no to, so that tribe announced doom.

The cowardice/intellectual dishonesty in some comments is truly ammusing. We're talking people calling your employer or putting you on do-not-hire blacklists, this is, taking the bread out of your table, not just "mean tweets". Nobody would give a rat ass about that.
FWIW, Lars Hupel has contacted my employer twice. It didn't work out the way he intended though :)
