I'll be honest, I kind of expected that response. The fact it happened like clockwork though is the real thing to bring home. There's no need in hiding it at all, "go somewhere else you FP pleb" is the response to wanting to do FP in Scala.

No, his “contribute to Haskell” is the only possible response to “Scala adds nothing whatsoever of value to Haskell”, not to doing pure FP in Scala. I think Scala adds interesting things; they’re just not yet as mature.

On the other hand, if you're not already looking for, our just outright making yourself, a job outside of Scala… You're all better than this stupid bullshit called Scala. I believe in you.
