To clarify on the Lena Dunham chaos that’s happening, I’m going to tweet a little bit about it. Trigger warning for discussion of abuse.

So I went to the bookstore, sat in the window, and read most of the parts about her sister, including the chapter about her.
My conclusion was that Dunham fails to see her sister as a human being with her own agency. Instead, she’s just part of Lena’a life story.
