It's not those at the top of the SES spectrum who are leaving religion behind. It's those at the bottom. Weekly attendance among those w/low education, low income: 27% in 2008. 19% in 2021 Weekly attendance among those w/high education, high income: 31% in 2008. 28% in 2021

Not enough data for this to be an indicator. Instead, this is a sign that we need to increase our survey inclusion of Black Americans so month-to-month changes in their labor market experience are more statistically meaningful. bloomberg.com/news/articles/ via

I made this some years ago, but it is still kind of fun. This is a map of 45,000 current & historical weather stations that have reported temperature data. There are no political or geographic markers on the map, but it is still easy to identify land masses and some countries.
