@dhh It was easier to convince my Apple friends to turn off iMessage to text me, I’m still in purgatory -

@dhh@craigstuntz I've been there recently just by configuring a new Mac. Either fix iMessage 100% or remove it. -
@dhh I've somehow dodged that bullet. Switch to WP almost 2 years ago. Initially it was a problem, but went away after 2 days. -
@dhh Just have to plan ahead and disable iMessage before switching phones: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts5185 . Apple can't 'know' you bought new phone. -
@dhh Same here with my month on Nexus 5, having to explain to all your regular imessage friends how to be able to sms you is 'wrong' -
