      @dhh I've somehow dodged that bullet. Switch to WP almost 2 years ago. Initially it was a problem, but went away after 2 days.

      @dhh Just have to plan ahead and disable iMessage before switching phones: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts5185 . Apple can't 'know' you bought new phone.
