Wonder if Box customers read S-1 filings? I certainly wouldn't feel that comfortable about long-term prospects after reading those numbers.

@dhh Switching costs for cloud storage providers are pretty low. Long term prospects of the co. aren't really a huge concern for customers.

@michaelpryor @dhh also spend in compliance tools, setting up security/auth, monitoring, audit. I would argue switching is expensive.

@circlejtp I don't think I would call it expensive. Maybe 'annoying'. Like it wouldn't take more than a week of work (<200 ppl co.)

@michaelpryor Ahh very much matter of perspective. < 200 I would agree. > 1000 not so much

@dhh It's always a red flag when bullshit numbers like "2.5bn interactions every 3 months" are headlined.

@alexheeton @dhh In addition to adjusted programming talent, my resumé will soon feature statistics like “methods refactored per kLOC.”

@raganwald @dhh Change it to "methods refactored per 3kLOC" and it'll be more impressive.

@dhh Wonder if the majority of the people that will invest in their IPO will read the S-1 filings?
