This is bordering on misleading advertising. It implies that if “something doesn’t feel right” you can simply “contact your GP practice”. I’ve done so. There are no appointments available. I have to wait FOUR weeks for a call back. These unreal adverts should be stopped.

Can Bitcoin developers be legally compelled to try to alter Bitcoin to reassign stolen coins back to original owners? A UK court has decided that a claim brought by a liar who never owned and wasn't robbed of the coins in question is the perfect case to try this question.

It always amazes me how much of Fintech (let alone defi) boils down to giving Americans things that the rest of the world took for granted in the 1980s but the US banking system can’t handle.

FT style guide change just announced: "data" is now always singular, eg "The data shows that" rather than "the data show that".
A red-letter day. I've been tiresomely banging on about this for decades. For anyone opposed, I'd like to know what your agendum is.

People seem to think that cash is free, but it isn’t. The cost to merchants is significant & the cost to society shouldn’t be overlooked. Should we really be imposing a stealth tax on merchants by forcing them to accept cash? The answer is, frankly, no.
