Since I released @AlgoVPN, it’s attracted ~7500 Github stars, 700 external contributions from 80 contributors, and endorsements from @motherboard, @kennwhite, @TheRegister, @thegrugq, @TechCrunch, @lifehacker, and more.

I’m proud of what we accomplished but taking
@AlgoVPN to the next level requires external funding. I have been relentless in trying to obtain it. I started by recording a podcast, then bundled it with my proposals.https://georgianpartners.com/the-problem-with-the-tor-network-and-commercial-vpns/ …Show this thread -
As should be obvious, no proposals were accepted and
@AlgoVPN has no external funding. Here’s one of the more memorable rejection notices, which grossly misunderstood the value proposition of a self-hosted VPN:https://twitter.com/AlgoVPN/status/918310804734308353 …

So, I guess watch what you say to Google? Like the CII, Jigsaw is intended to buy good PR for
@Google, pursue Eric Schmidt’s megalomaniacal regime change ambitions, and distract bored Google engineers from dreary ad sales work. They have no reason to collaborate with you.Show this thread

No surprise there. Spoke of balloon transmitted internet during a 2007 interview and some other stuff. Also predicted fail of Wave because of too much too soon. Reuse of ideas is free i guess. Though mostly such is done poorly.

I just been bashing my head against the idiocy of bitcoin core not allowing bitcoin-qt to connect via RPC on my own lan. I thought I would do some good running a full node. nope Same shit everywhere. If you aren't in the club someone else will copy you and claim it is theirs.

LOL, if you care to read their codes you'll know it's basically a wrapper for shadowsocks, an open source secure socks5 proxy that's been around since 2013, not your ipsec VPN.

I truly sympathize with you. One thing that I would have done (and hope you have done) is to immediately exchange emails to write down the ideas that were exchanged in person. It creates the opportunity for future collaboration & has a side effect of providing a record.

What are the odds
@Jigsaw’s “Outline” will have this very useful option? Do you want to install a DNS resolver on this VPN server, to block ads while surfing? Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

What if this is why ChromeOS never got support for ipsec more secure than l2tp?
