It's notable that I know all too many CEO/CTO/CISOs today who were active blackhats in their teens up to 20's. But they didn't get caught.

I don't think those people should condemn foolish teenage acts of another hacker. Rather, allow LEO to investigate full scope before judging

I agree with this sentiment, but I think there's a clear qualitative difference between hacking for fun/power/friends/etc vs fraud at scale.

I agree. That's why I said to let the LEOs sort it out first and make full details public. I think people are judging too quick either way.
