Between their absolutist stance on DRM, the messaging scorecard, myopic support for Tor & attacks on gov research, is EFF actually anti-sec?

@dguido messaging scorecard has been removed. -
@thegrugq and I am eagerly anticipating its replacement -

@cynicalsecurity@dguido@thegrugq Snowden is where I get all my cryptographic advice from (because he’s the expert). -
@flyryan@cynicalsecurity@dguido still waiting on his tips & tricks for SharePoint administration...

@dguido We call that security though, sometimes security is used to enforce DRM, not the other way around. -
@Joshua_Brindle DRM tech *is* security tech, just look at the iPhone. Does code signing secure it or protect revenue from content licenses? -
@dguido Code signing is security, it is used for more things than DRM. DRM hijacks all sorts of security (e.g., hardware keystores).

@dguido well, DRM is an application of secure fundamentals, but it's not their only use. It's all about trust & authentication. -
@dguido you can endorse secure computing without promoting its application to DRM specifically. -
@bizzyunderscore Sure, but that's not the stance EFF has taken.
