Lots are asking my opinion on DOJ delaying the case, specifically possible unlock techniques. I'm in no better position than anyone else but
Flash mirroring is not future-proof either w/ Secure Enclave. And this all assumes it even works, which is not a given.

It's too early to tell exactly what technique is being tested. It could be Flash mirroring, but I would put money on something else.

@dguido Isn’t the *data* stored by Secure Enclave just put in an additionally-encrypted region on the flash? (not sure it’s clear in docs) -
@DarthNull That is a good question. No one knows or has said tbh. -
@dguido@DarthNull For the most part, I believe that is true, but there's some anti-replay stuff on a tiny EEPROM on a separate chip.
