Advocating Tor as a cure-all for surveillance is misleading. It didn't take a nation-state to break it, it took 2 college students $3k.
I blame the @EFF: Rallying behind Tor raises money whether or not it can live up to the hype. Time to be honest, Tor is a privacy ghetto.
