1. You can't "pass" a security audit
2. You can't pentest an app secure
3. It's not independent if you paid for it
4. You should advise clients to say otherwise

We agree with several of your points (not all though) and are unhappy with the article and how this went down. While we assumed, based on past publications, that we had this under control a bit better, it is obvious that there is still room for improvement. We're working on it.
