I tried the "impossible burger": its fake meat is about as bad as the real "meat" in BK sandwiches what's the point in trying to be indistinguishable from meat if veg*ans don't eat meat in the first place thus don't miss its taste; just a gateway to veg*ism for meat-eaters?

I get the cut on meat part esp for red meat, but I feel like there are many better, more authentic options than fake meat (vegetables, cereal-based, etc. and anything that doesnt pretend to be what it isnt), but I may change my mind :) bbl cooking vietnamese beef :-p

I miss the taste of meat sometimes so Impossible is a great way of staying the vegeterian course. I also find it tasty.

Yeah for me it's more about "I want a burrito with the heartiness of meat" without actually eating meat. If Impossible/Beyond is an option I always go for that. On the other hand my long-time veg friends don't care about it, they're not the target market.

I actually really like the Beyond Burger (and most of their other products), and I've been vegetarian for about 20 years.
