Almost died driving in Ft Lauderdale tonight. 1am, in an Uber, and someone is on the wrong side of the road driving straight towards us. Driver calmly moved out of the way and we missed by a few feet. Buckle up and avoid cars when possible!

To add some extra color, we were driving north on US Route 1 in a minivan with 3 out of 4 bridesmaids just having left a wedding

My Uber driver last night in Miami had to emergency brake 4 times on a 10 min trip due to cars abruptly switching lanes without a signal. Ft Lauderdale is the only city in which I ever crashed a rental car (geriatric decided to come to a stop in the middle of an eight lane road).
