Does this app do more than just help users navigate iOS/iPadOS security/privacy settings? The people I know understand them and already check them on a regular basis, but if this app does more than that, I'd like to know more about it, so I can potentially recommend it to friends
Yes, you can see the screenshot above shows the threat detection and HTTPS upgrade capabilities. We're also releasing a new version today with a image metadata scrubber.
I saw the threat detection in the screenshot, but I don't understand how that works if this app doesn't have access to all the data of all other apps.
In any case, I'm excited to see this. It looks like it brings some much needed transparency to Apple products. 
Is threat detection done by looking to see if the attacker changed any globally observable settings?
