The side effect of iVerify and HTTPS everywhere is finding the http auth. based control panels for smaller sites.

Hm? You mean a site not working is a clear indicator they didn't completely TLS the website? FWIW we have an update in the works with a much better HTTPS upgrader.

Yes, I don’t think this is an issue with iVerify, it just makes https misconfiguration obvious. Just started using iVerify today. Ideally it would be able to fall back to http after getting a cert mismatched alert or auth dialog. That’s probably not possible in safari land.

I’ve played with https everywhere in Firefox a while ago for desktop, ended up disabling it for the same reasons.

Great! Opportunistic HTTPS upgrades work in the next version of iVerify.
