I was a student at Mineola High School.
I taught computer science on and off from my freshmen to junior years because I took @CTYalumni classes that put me ahead.
Wow... I’ve got a Master’s degree and 15 years experience, and I still couldn’t teach at a public school here because I didn’t jump the ridiculous hurdles we place on teachers in this state. The idea of a HS student teaching a HS class is nuts to me.
I also taught a graduate computer security class while enrolled as an undergrad at @nyutandon.
I was never the teacher of record. I just stood up, went through the course material, prepared labs, etc. It was never an official position at the time.
