Remember waaay back at Black Hat, when there was a crazy five dimension “crypto” talk,
TIME AI, and @dguido called them out?
Well. The TIME AI guys are back. And they brought lawyers.

Is it relevant to the lawsuit that their product is garbage ? I find it unclear what they are precisely complaining about. It might be that the lawsuit ends up having more merit than the actual product

Something breach of contract. Black Hat accepted them as a paid sponsor, paying for access to hold a talk. Then afterwards Black Hat retracted everything associated with them. At best they might walk off with a few dollars for breach of contract, but with a tainted reputation

Thing is, they did pay to associate their name to BH, then BH unilateraly decides to dissociate themselves from the dumpster fire that is that company. Feels like they should get their money back though. Maybe, just maybe, don’t allow people to pay their way into BH...

BlackHat reserved the right to do what they did in the contract Crown Sterling agreed to. Unless Crown Sterling can prove otherwise, they have no case. So far their argument seems to be the BlackHat Code of Conduct was both violated and legally binding.

It seems like they enforced their code of conduct, too.https://twitter.com/dguido/status/1159580554343284736 …
