This was awesome also https://thatoneprivacysite.net

My only hope for this Wirecutter piece is that people stop referring to 'thatoneprivacysite', since it contains so much useless, poorly organized information presented without context that it misleads many readers.

1) yael rules. 2) There is a research paper by thats pretty sick "An Empirical Analysis of the Commercial VPN Ecosystem" by Mohammad Taha Khan,Joe DeBlasio,Geoffrey M. Voelker,Alex C. Snoeren,Chris Kanich,Narseo Vallina-Rodriguez https://www.cs.uic.edu/~taha/content/khan_imc_18.pdf …

Neat, yes, research like that has driven a need for Yael's more holistic review. Everywhere you look, there's another sketchy VPN service that leaks traffic, has no privacy policy, or blatantly manipulates content, URLs, or TLS.

@theTunnelBear clearly states they can use your data according to Canada’s laws “By using our services, you authorize TunnelBear to use your information according to Canada's laws, regardless of which country you are located in.” -
