Good article. A small feedback: "Encryption needs to be done using a protocol called ECIES...", yet it recommends https://libsodium.gitbook.io/doc/public-key_cryptography/authenticated_encryption … which provides different security guarantees than ECIES

Ah yes, this is a really subtle point that we cut before publication. libsodium does not exactly use ECIES but something related. If you're not using libsodium, then ECIES is the right answer.
