        BTW the little bumps on the pavement aren't for grip, there so people with sight issues can tell when the pavement is about to become a crossing, threes also a diamond and bar type patterns and different colors which have other meanings!

        Lovely review, always nice to see someone else's view of a city you know well! The bumps at the cross walks are also there for those hard of sight to know where to cross, given the kerb/hump things you mentioned before. Multi use!

        great report! I would recommend checking out the waterfront in other areas, I found it to be quite nice closer to Parliament etc. on both sides of the river.

        I'm a London native though I live in Australia now... Interesting to see a visitor perspective. London has only a little more than half the rain of Vancouver though....
