Ur polls are amazing. You also need more female twitter friends ;)

Too real
I guess that's what I get for being into software, trains, and economics... -
We need to recruit more ladies to this website that like software, trains and economics

I’d guess there’s some serious selection bias at play in the women that follow Devon. Fascinating.

For those that want to see the results, but don't want to throw off data. CC;

Feels like a poll you’d really want to split out by age group and have equal sex representation. I tried to google for some stats but couldn’t find any. IIRC the results were a lot more balanced that these results.
-
One thing to keep in mind is immense selection bias in my followers
-
Precisely what I was getting at :)

Very curious to know what prompted this poll
-
Something I've just always been curious about, especially since it's the sort of thing one likely wouldn't voice! You always hear from the folks who say that having a child was the best thing that ever happened to them; folks with the opposite experience are less likely to share
-
I wonder how this varies as a function of the age of the child and age of respondent
-
Well fwiw, I’m a 35 year old man with 10 and 8 yr old boys, and I’m very glad I had them. I found the earlier years to contain a lot of “what have I done” and “this is the greatest thing ever” swings, with more moderation now.
-
My sense is that these numbers are inaccurate for women or at least don't generalize. Perhaps there's unintended bias in the female Twitter demographic. Perhaps the #'s are accurate but they're totally out of whack with my intuition and experience.
-
Do you mean the poll numbers, or a different set of numbers?
