Come on, all you need is a permanent marker. 10 million in circulation would get the message across quite nicely. ☺️

Just reading about a failing state where the leader is wilfully destroying the economy and refuses to release details of foreign interference and now wants to control which press has access to government briefings and sorry that’s us.

▪️46% of UK exports go to the EU. ▪️ 8% of EU exports go to the UK. ▪️UK trade with the EU amounts to 14% of UK GDP. ▪️EU trade with the UK amounts to 3% of EU GDP. Spot the problem. We need them more than they need us.

"After one of Boris Johnson’s most senior advisers told the banned reporters they must leave the building, the rest of the journalists decided to walk out rather than allow Downing Street to choose who scrutinises and reports on the government." 👏👏👏👏

This is when it gets unpleasant. Received this in the post.. some local peed off at my daring to display an EU flag at the weekend no doubt. Didn't have the balls to sign it. Got my politics wrong. And can't spell. Next time just knock and I'll tell you why I voted Remain.

It makes no difference how you vote. If you care about this country, if you have any patriotism in you, if you want to live in a society of fairness, scrutiny is vital. If that scrutiny is applied by a handpicked press corp it is merely window dressing. Equal access is vital.

This is incredibly important. Those who walked out in solidarity should be commended. BUT They have to keep doing it, and they need to push back against 'a Downing St source...' type insider arrangements. The future of the free press depends on it.

In September 2018 Norton Motorcycles owner Stuart Garner claimed he had no fears about Brexit, and said that it would be a "huge opportunity" to negotiate trade deals around the globe.

Well done, you’re finally reporting that they’re lying to us. All a little bit too though isn’t it... still, it will give you lots of juicy things to write about while they restructure the economy and make themselves lots of money while bankrupting the rest of the country 🙄

When it comes to likely Brexit deal, we've gone from 'exact same benefits', to 'frictionless trade', to some friction, to now a choice btw Canada style deal OR what govt is calling Australia deal which is not a deal, but WTO arrangement with tariffs and the Irish protocol

PS I have been in the Westminster Lobby for over thirty years (since before you wer born) and am a former Lobby Chairman. I have never heard of an "inner lobby". This takes blatant attempts to divide and rule to a new level. So please don't lie.

I have to say: pretending the word Brexit no longer exists and pretending WTO is pronounced “Australia” is really QUITE the strategy. thinks we’re idiots.

Two speeches today. One containing cold hard facts (Michel Barnier) and another containing vague buzz phrases, arcane language and cliches (Boris Johnson).

Surely our wonderful Prime Minister wouldn't LIE? Would he? 'Michel Barnier: Johnson agreed last year to stick to EU rules'

Boris Johnson now telling the press “We've got a deal, it's a great deal..” His comments are baffling. We don’t yet have a trade deal! Can someone at No.10 brief him on this

We do not have a deal!! I don't know how many times I have repeated this. We have an outline agreement to negotiate a deal. Brexit is not Done. No Deal is still on the table.

I see everyone is tweeting the story about Nissan supposedly abandoning the EU in favour of the UK post-hard Brexit. Great news if it happens because Nissan winding down in the North East would be catastrophic for the reason but FUCK ME, read the actual story.

I have just listened to Barnier's and Johnson's speeches on the future relationship. Barnier was sober, measured, knowledgeable, detailed. Johnson was theatrical, big picture, deceitful. The U.K. is going to get skinned alive.
