We’ve got a bumper old stock sale on today and every Sunday in February from 12:30-3:30pm. All proceeds come back into the charity and help raise funds to support us delivering library services. Mostly CDs, DVDs and MP3 CDs. Come along, have a rummage and find a treasure.

Our John is a picky one when it comes to the serious business of cows, nothing at Chard could tempt him. And glad to see the to keep those accounts continues...2 shillings' discount is not to be sniffed at!

Diary entry reading: Weather snowy. Rode to Chard Great Market to buy some cows and calves, nothing there that would suit me for dairyman. Paid John Crisp his bill for reed and threshing. Paid Whightman and Dennings bill. Paid Bulpins bill for oils. Received discount on the above bills.
