Not up to the ex-commuter to support the railway I’m afraid. In time as people feel it’s safe they may increase leisure travel, maybe to see friends they no longer see at the office. In the blink of an eye we may have seen the end of traditional peaks.

More to the point, why would they waste a couple of hours a day and hundreds of pounds a month on a commute they haven’t needed to do for months. They can make sandwich, brew their own coffee and get to see more of the family.
