This is the kicker for me as we go back into shielding. We came so close. Why dont we bite the bullet and follow NZ and other countries?

Because they would have to say they’d made a mistake, and they don’t seem capable of that.

Travel has been the elephant in the room that none of the 4 countries in the UK have addressed properly.

True. But it’s difficult for the devolved nations to do effectively without Westminster’s support - and remember, .@BorisJohnson wanted his citizens to take a deadly disease “on the chin.” No need for such measures that would harm our economy.

closing the England-Scot border is destroying the lives of the people who live ON border -there IS no border in reality and we work and love either side freely. Support B allow one to see a partner. But only if u r in the same country. The x border ban has broken me this month.

A clear strategy on travel- needed- NZ/AUS closed their airports = suppression. Imagine if we did back in March- lessons to be learnt for future in-coming strains.

Let’s see what the EU,world countries travel ban imposed to all UK citizens from 21Dec 20 to 19 Jan21 brings to this theory ;if no proper mitigation steps are imposed within UK borders to control the contagion the numbers within uk will keep raising.
