Single dose for 3 months?!?
-
Yes exactly, we need to know what the % efficacy is after the first dose. And the risk therefore that people will face when forced to wait the stated 12 weeks before they receive the second dose. Finally what is the % efficacy after both doses?

What is the best strategy to get this done? Devolve to local authorities?
-
They should already have this sorted out - had long enough to plan for it

Let’s hope they’ve got a plan to get it done quickly
-
With their track record? I'd love to hope that this is rolled out with speed and efficiency but if the past 10 months are anything to go by I'm not very optimistic

Eeeesh. That's where it's going to go wrong. Science has done their bit. Now Tories will fuck if up, as per usual

Will this meaningfully assist in scaling up vaccine distribution?
-
It should do, the biggest problem with the Pfizer vaccine is it's storage and transfer limitations. You can store the Oxford in the same fridge as your milk! Will make it able to be delivered direct to care homes and GPs instead of relying on limited vaccine hubs.
